Got put on notice at 10pm that my brother was feeling bad (long term illness) and at midnight the call came. So off to UCHL A&E. Been seen at 2am waiting for admission.
Saw woopra on GeekBrief and have downloaded. Have to wait for approval (no eta) of the sites I want to use it on. Took the wordpress plugin version but it will not activate due to parse error line 21. I’ll try a manual install IF they approve my sites.
Wordpress app for iPhone - works well!
It just works. Straight out the box - added my Exchange details - better email than Windows Mobile.
Connected to car kit - worked first time - sorts the contacts better with Parrot
Can’t put it down
I need a new module to manage staff calendars for absence, holidays and stift patterns. Initially looking to use PHP Nuke to deploy it as open freeware.
I am a fan of GeekBrief. A great tech video podcast hosted by Cali Lewis
Now I need to think about market research. I have to be careful here as it would be easy to give too much away. My first thought is to do an on-line survey and I will need to get enough participants to make it worth while.
I also want to start a project site and thought it would be novel to offer participation “share” points. I’m thinking that for every person who contributes in some way I could award them points from a pot. The idea being that it the project takes off those participation shares translate into a real share of the project. I need to explore this.
